STÜKEN Czech Republic now generates up to 30% of its energy requirements with an investment of around 620,000 euros, co-financed by the EU.

STÜKEN Czech Republic has had a photovoltaic system with an area of 2,550 m2 and an output of 527.4 kW installed. A previously unused area of the company premises now generates approx. 25-30% of the company´s energy requirements. The project, with an investment sum of around 620,000 euros, was co-financed by the EU.

Stueken s.r.o. is one of five production sites of the globally positioned STÜKEN Group. The comprehensive service package includes high-precision stamped parts, coatings, engineering and development, in-house toolmaking, automation, injection molding technology and component assembly. The expert for stamping technology, assembly and finishing currently employs 160 people. The plant was last expanded in 2016, doubling the production area to 10,600 m2

"The aim of the EU-funded project is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the proportion of renewable energy sources. The total investment amounts to around 620,000 euros," explains Dirk Hansper, General Manager at STÜKEN Czech Republic. "We are thus making a contribution to the energy transition and at the same time making ourselves less dependent on the prices and availability of fossil fuels. A good investment in the future."
